Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) serve as single points of entry into the long-term services and supports (LTSS) system for older adults, people with disabilities, caregivers, veterans and families. Some states refer to ADRCs as “access points” or “no wrong door” systems.

An independent, impartial, free advocate for individuals receiving home care & other services. Ombudsman investigate complaints that haven’t been solved by the Agency.

Part of a national health care quality improvement initiative directed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). A QIO is a private company of health quality experts, clinicians, and consumers, contracted with CMS to improve the care delivered to people with Medicare. Every US state is assigned to a QIO.
